Assisted Opening EDC Pocket Knife

The perfect blend of form and function. The Razel® Compact takes designer Jon Graham’s fixed-blade knife and adds versatility while reducing size. Brutalist and elegant at the same time, the D2 steel blade balances Veff Flat Top Serrations®, a front chisel, and a gently curved leading edge, all coming together in a pocket fixed blade that can be used for cutting rope, scraping, and slicing. This is a working-class everyday carry that’s built to get dirty — but it still cleans up well. The two-tone blade finish, a combination of brushed and black stonewashed steel, complements the striking blade shape, and the black handle lends the knife an overall premium appearance. But Tom was unhappy with the tapered diamond sharpeners that were available, so he designed the CRKT® Veff Sharp™ to be the ultimate portable multipurpose field and bench sharpener.

The Ignitor™ is built around the same elegant frame as the standard version, with a deep finger choil and reassuring pommel that will feel right at home in your hand. But the new iteration adds even more versatility. It still uses fast Assisted Opening, smooth IKBS bearings, and easy-to-sharpen, high-carbon steel, but the 3.5-inch drop-point blade is now coated for corrosion resistance and features Veff Serrations™ to cut through rope and other fibrous material.
