Big blade power from Liong Mah.

Built for survival, camp work, and the kind of heavy-duty tasks that chew up lesser blades, the Mah-chete™ is a hard-use powerhouse designed by custom knifemaker Liong Mah. Its name is a playful nod to Mah’s last name, but everything else about it is all business.

The 12" blade is forged from tough 1075 carbon steel and built with a convex grind for the kind of edge durability and cutting efficiency heavy work demands. Clear brush, split kindling, process small log firewood, and tackle demanding outdoor jobs with confidence. With an overall length of 17” and a blade thickness of .18”, the Mah-chete™ delivers serious reach, balance, and chopping power when it matters most.

A hammered finish along the spine gives the blade a distinctive custom-inspired look, while the satin finish on the blade keeps it clean and classic. In hand, the ergonomic walnut handle offers a secure, comfortable grip for extended use, with a lanyard hole ready for a retention cord when conditions get slick or fast-paced.

When the work is done, the Mah-chete™ rides securely in a woven nylon sheath with snap-button retention and an adjustable belt loop attachment point for versatile carry.

Designed by Liong Mah to be used hard, the Mah-chete™ brings custom character and maximum cutting power to a machete built for the backcountry.
  • Maximum Comfort Walnut wood handle is functional and comfortable
  • Comfortable Use Handle design provides clearance for hand
  • Built Tough Reinforced nylon sheath provides carry options
