Crafted in Colorado by Live Sharp Industries, the M16®-02BALI carries the same DNA as Carson’s original design—now adapted into a balanced, lightweight everyday carry. At just 2.6 ounces, it disappears in the pocket yet opens smoothly thanks to IKBS™ ball-bearing pivots.
A tough MagnaCut tanto blade delivers edge retention and corrosion resistance that outpaces traditional steels, while the titanium handle has subtle contours for comfort during extended use. A locking latch ensures security in carry, and the removable pocket clip keeps it accessible on the go.

Kit retired as a ranking Master Sergeant and ultimately became a high profile member of the Knifemakers’ Guild. Kit designed the successful M16® knife series named one of the Top 10 Tactical Folders of the Decade by Blade Magazine. Inducted into the Cutlery Hall of Fame in 2012, Kit’s industry influence was felt far and wide. He even mentored such greats as Ken Onion. Kit passed in 2014.
