Designed by Ken Onion in Kaneohe, Hawaii
Abrasive belt 6-pack for the Tool Grinding Attachment. The Norton P60 ultra-coarse zirconia alumina abrasive belts are ideal for coarse grinding and shaping.
More Information
Six-pack of ultra-coarse abrasive belts for the Tool Grinding Attachment only. This is the most aggressive belt for the Tool Grinding Attachment. Intended for tool grinding, edge shaping and other heavy material removal tasks. These belts are a direct replacement for the P60 belt that comes standard with the Tool Grinding Attachment for the Ken Onion Edition Knife & Tool Sharpener.

Size: ¾" x 12"
Grit: P60 (269microns)*
Abrasive: zirconia alumina
Backing: X weight waterproof polyester
Manufacturer: Norton (R823P)
Color: blue
Due to the stiff characteristic of the X weight belt backing, this belt should only be used with the Tool Grinding Attachment.

*There are many naming conventions for grit measurement. We include the size of the grit in microns as a standard for comparison between abrasives (higher numbers = more coarse). Many other factors contribute to an abrasive’s application and material removing properties, including the shape of the grit, the pattern the grit is applied to the backing material, various characteristics of proprietary abrasive materials used by different manufacturers, etc.
