The Bamboozled™ pairs its timeless looks with utilitarian materials, including D2 blade steel for superb edge retention and a grippy G10 handle. It uses both Assisted Opening — his Father’s Speedsafe technology — and IKBS™ bearings for fast and smooth action. When open, a liner lock secures the blade and can be easily released with the push of a finger, allowing the knife to be fully operated with one hand.
All of this leads to a quality folder that will appeal to the vintage knife collector as much as it does the aspiring aficionado. In the Bamboozled™, Ken Jr. has a legend of his own in the making.

As the son of a legendary knifemaker, Kenny Onion is no stranger to rolling up his sleeves and getting his hands dirty in the shop. Growing up in Hawaii, he spent countless hours with his famous father, Ken Onion building elaborate projects like gas-powered scooters and potato launchers. It was this sense of curiosity and love of design that led Kenny to pursue a career as a maker and machinist.
He spent the better part of a decade mastering CAD and collaborating with his father, and fellow knifemaker Jeff Park, to produce the graphics on their knives using fiber optic lasers. Kenny’s first production knife, the Bamboozled™, is a testament to his refined aesthetic and the subtle influences from his father – while standing on his own as a legend in the making.
