PILAR® III JADE

Designed by Jesper Voxnaes in Loegstrup, Denmark
Where minimal design meets maximum utility.

This limited-run version of the Pilar® III is still an everyday carry inspired by the minimalist’s sailor knife, but now features an upgraded blade with stronger D2 steel that’s coated for additional corrosion resistance. The natural G10 handle contributes to the knife’s understated looks, but don’t let that fool you — this thing still punches well above its weight.
  • Superior Performance: D2 blade steel for excellent edge retention
  • Enhanced Protection: Black coating improves corrosion resistance
  • Smooth Opening: IKBS™ ball bearing pivot deploys the blade smooth
  • Easy opening: Thumb slot for easy one hand opening
  • Tough and Durable: G10 with stainless steel handle combines durability and strength
  • Brute Strength: Frame lock utilizes a thick lock bar to secure the blade
  • Low Profile: Pocket clip provides secure carry

Jesper Voxnaes

Loegstrup, Denmark

When Jesper needs to test a design, he only has to step into his own backyard. The harsh elements and conditions of the fjords and forests in his native Denmark do the rest. When he was starting out, no one was making the kind of knives he wanted to design so he learned by trial and error. Apparently his efforts paid off given his IF Award in 2013 for one of the Top European Designs. Now he creates and uses knives like the Amicus® as he sails, camps, and drives off-road. Which is more often than not.
