Ryan Johnson of RMJ Tactical in Chattanooga, TN designed the Chogan™ Hammer. An expert in applying modern engineering to centuries-old tool and weapon concepts, Ryan pushes the tactical frontier with his outdoor line of tomahawks made to withstand nature’s toughest moments. Made from a solid chunk of 1055 carbon steel that is hot forged into a rock-solid head that features a Manganese Phosphate Coating, the Chogan™ Hammer packs a powerful swing from both sides. Put the hammerhead side to use when you need something tough to pound nails and stakes easily into the ground—or reach for it to split wood to feed your roaring fire.
The thick wood handle is made in the USA from Tennessee hickory. Delivering true comfort when held in hand, the handle is sanded, double burned and buffed for a finished texture that compliments its natural environment.
Grab hold of the Chogan™ Hammer and build your campsite with ease.
The fireplace is never without wood at the Johnson house. That’s because for years at RMJ Tactical, Ryan has been building some of the finest custom tomahawks this country has ever seen. Applying modern engineering to centuries-old tool and weapon concepts, he redefined the role of tomahawks in Law Enforcement and Special Forces Military Applications.
