2017 CRKT® Strafe™
New ultimate modern field knife inspired by Japanese design.
CRKT® is releasing the Strafe™ tactical fixed blade. Designed by Lucas Burnley of Albuquerque, New Mexico, it was born of both an admiration for sleek Japanese design and a fascination with U.S. military combat technique. The angular, rakish blade, and the slight design makes this knife swift in motion, and an extremely lightweight carry. The field is full of unsuspected variables; the Strafe™ is built to address every last one.
The word strafe is synonymous with the word bombard or enfilade. And with a strong stonewash finish, this 4.6” lean, tanto-inspired blade is fully prepared for whatever you may confront on a mission. This tactical knife is prepared to take on anything—it’s first and foremost a field utility knife, but it’ll always be there to run sweep.
An ergonomically-designed handle, finished with diamond cross section grip and shadow boxed scales, makes this one look like a relic fit for a display case, but this powerful, capable beast doesn’t belong in a cage. The tough glass-reinforced nylon sheath features a j-hook accessory so it remains poised and at the ready at all times.
Burnley is a serious contender when it comes to the most capable and knowledgeable tactical knife designer in the industry, and this one belongs near the top of his sterling portfolio.
In a combat situation, every second counts. The sleek, swift Strafe™ eats milliseconds for breakfast.
The Strafe™ manufacturer’s suggested retail price is $79.99
