CRKT® is releasing the Batum™ folding outdoor knife. Designed by Jesper Voxnaes of Loegstrup, Denmark, it’s created in classic Scandinavian style: clean and understated when it’s not in use, burly and capable when it’s called.
Batum, Denmark is a city that acts as a basecamp for adventures through the desolate terrain that surrounds it. With a strong stainless steel blade with a satin finish, this 3.2” big-bellied blade, is raring to go when confronted with anything Mother Nature can dream up. It’s little sister, the Batum™ Compact is identical in aesthetic and capability, but lighter and stealthier for longer missions.
A short, but extremely ergonomic handle provides a firm, secure grip in any position—especially in the midst of rain, snow, mud, or sand. The sturdy frame lock provides confidence while the blade is open and in use. A big thumb slot blade deployment makes for easy-open capabilities on both models, even if you’re wearing gloves.
