Designer T.J. Schwarz of Boise, Idaho has a signature design move: things aren’t always as they appear. The Scribe™ with D2 blade steel tucks perfectly into the lineup with a clean, compact design and a seamless cap that completely conceals the black stonewash drop point blade. The handle and cap are built of strong thermoplastic and the black stonewash clip is designed to look like a simple pen clip when tucked into a front pocket.

Flash drive, pen, coffee, Scribe™, and you’re out the door.

TJ was destined to be a car designer. In high school he discovered his uncanny ability to draw cars—in fact, he was so good at it that by the time he was in college, he was accepting commissions from classic car owners. Just as his career was starting down the automotive path, his good friend Bill Koenig of Koenig Knives intervened and everything shifted. Once he got a taste of knife design, he never looked back. So when he says, “engineered for performance,” he means it.
