Robert Carter

Hillister, Texas

When you come from a long line of knife makers, it’s hard not to have it rub off on you. For Robert, this happened at an early age. Since childhood, he’s always been fascinated with aircraft and lines that have a speed-of-sound look to them. Taking traditional cues from his father, Joe Pardue, and grandfather, Mel Pardue, he creates knives that have a progressive design such as the Jettison™. Robert has definitely earned his design stripes in the family. But that doesn’t mean anyone’s backing away from the shop’s machine for him anytime soon.
