Versatile fixed blade for walking, packing, or missioning.
The Synergist is an MJ Lerch design that is minimal in appearance, yet substantial in purpose. A fixed blade knife with a slim profile that can be carried discretely on a pack, clipped on your belt, or boot strapped. The spear point blade is well suited for piercing tasks and offers a dual cutting edge for slicing. The knife is full tang and includes G10 scales that create exceptional grip and durable strength. The Synergist includes a pressed leather sheath with a clip to easily attach to any carry system.
The Syngergist is a no-frills, no thrills knife; it's tough, tactical and it's got your back.
The speartip blade is super sharp, and the steel is great quality.
If you're looking for a tactical blade, however, the handle leaves a bit to be desired. The handle looks like it would provide a great grip with the two finger grooves on both sides, however the handle is very narrow - which gives a very unsteady pinch grip (think of having a coin balanced on it's edge).
If you turn your grip to the flat side, however, you get no purchase from the finger grooves at all, and if you meet any resistance, you hand will likely slide up the blade in the process of using it.
I'd love to see the same blade with a different handle.

This is now my favorite knife. I carry it inverted on my strong side belt mounted. The knife slides in and out of the sheath like butter, but no matter how you move, it stays supremely secure with the no rattle silence that only molded leather can give. Carrying it this way makes for a fast draw that guarantees simple access instantaneously. The blade is sturdy and sharp to a ridiculous degree with a long lasting edge. The piercing quality of the tip is something special as well. The sleek design and smooth carry makes the knife forgettable until you actually need it. At that point, it becomes indispensable. You will not be disappointed.
