These three knife lines have been designed to give you a choice between conventional opening or super-fast assisted opening, employing our patented OutBurst™ assisted opening mechanism (U.S. Patent No. 6,834,432). We call it OutBurst because the assisted opening mechanism helps the knife burst open for use. You initiate opening using the thumb stud or disk, and after 30 degrees, OutBurst takes over, giving instant lockup. The OutBurst spring is held in place by a single set screw which allows you to remove or replace the spring in minutes. It gives a new level of choice in folding knives.

Initially introduced as the OptiFast line, the name was changed to OutBurst to better describe the instant opening action and to avoid confusion with other products on the market.


	Koji Hara Ichi™. An OutBurst™ assisted-opening folder designed by Japanese knifemaker Koji Hara. Just nudge the thumb disk for fast opening. It features stainless steel open build, terraced Air-Step Zytel® and Kraton® scales.


Koji Hara Ichi™ Black. Here's the black-on-black version of Koji’s OutBurst™ assisted-opening folder with black titanium nitride blade coating, black hardware, and black terraced Air-Step Zytel® and Kraton® scales.


		Full Throttle™. Russ Kommer designed this all-steel-build frame-lock folder with OutBurst™ assisted opening. The high satin blade is premium AUS 8 stainless steel, the frame is polyurethane coated, and details are gold tone.


		My Tighe™. Brian Tighe’s popular outrageous custom is now a CRKT production knife with OutBurst™ assisted opening, stainless steel frame-lock build, Zytel® scales and high satin 1.4116 stainless steel blade.


	My Tighe™ Black. This is the black-on-black version of Brian Tighe’s custom with OutBurst™ assisted opening, stainless steel frame-lock build, Zytel® scales and black titanium nitride coated 1.4116 stainless steel blade.
