Bought this knife from GPknives. Just what I expected small enough to carry IWB, or in pocket with lanyard attached to belt. Good EDC fixed blade. My knife was very sharp out of the box, and kydex sheath very secure. I have yet to put the knife through its paces, however I have had 8cr14mov blades before and I really like it.
Good small knife, nicely made and fits the hand well. The belt attachment is too small for any belt (thickness or width) that I own. The paracord is too short to use as a neck knife, although that was easy enough to remedy. In all a nice knife.
Purchased from House of Blades through Amazon. Very happy with the knife, it is a beautiful (if simple) blade, came very sharp. My wife looked at it and said "it's an ornate shiv, nice". My one complaint is lack of instruction in attaching the belt harness properly plus lack of a clip for attaching to ones pants if one doesn't WEAR a belt. other than that, wonderful design and quality CRKT (and Mr. Lucas Burnley of course), well done
Got this product from Knife Center (www.knifecenter.com, what I consider a pretty reputable website.) Like the design and the cord grip is pretty secure. Biggest complaint is that the knife was incredibly dull from manufacturer--not even an edge set to drag on a thumbnail. I don't think I'm being overly critical, this is just my biggest pet peeve with new knives. I can update this once I sharpen it, but for now, pretty unimpressed. As far as CRKT, I own the Heiho, Hissatsu, and the Otashi Noh Ken, so don't think I'm being too harsh. ***CRKT RESPONSE - We reached out to John and offered him a replacement. This is the first blade issue with this knife we have heard. We have informed the QC team. We appreciate the feedback. 8Cr14Mov is a high carbon stainless steel that is comparable to AUS8. Generally considered an excellent value priced steel for its performance characteristics. CRKT
