Work. Self defense. Tactical situations. No Bother ™.
The No Bother™ is a small fixed blade tactical knife designed by Ryan Johnson of RMJ Tactical that is full tang and fully ready to keep you safe on the job. The blade has a non-reflective, black oxide stone wash finish and a reverse tanto tip. The knife is lightweight and minimal in hand and the non-removable black ABS handle scales offer a secure grip. There's jimping on the thumb ramp that's both aesthetic and functional. The knife includes a pressed leather lanyard for quick draw applications.
CRKT worked with Ryan Johnson to develop a unique carry system for this tactical fixed blade. A Molle compatible polypropylene sheath has excellent retention to keep the knife secure when carrying it tip-up. Nylon webbing is designed to fit Molle gear and a quick release buckle leaves the webbed carry system in place if the knife and sheath need to be detached. An included paracord lanyard is designed for neck knife carry with a quick release safety fob to avoid choking.
Looking for a strong fixed blade knife that's compatible with all your gear? Roger that. The No Bother™ has got you covered.
I'm very impressed with the quality of this knife. Feels great in my hand and does the job perfectly. I do agree a belt strap addition would be nice, but works great on my moly gear

The only reason I created an account on CRKT was in order to review this knife:
It is... awesome. This knife has converted me to carrying fix-blades rather than folders. I carry it every day and forget that I have it. I work on a maintenance team assembling furniture and this is my single most useful tool. I use it for every cutting job imaginable, including prying on steel... this knife is thick (Not at all recommended)
My only cons would be sheath. I carry tip-down, and even though it has never fallen out on the job, jumping down onto concrete from a loading dock has caused it to pop out. Constant use will eventually cause the sheath to loosen. Also the there is NO GOOD WAY to attach it to your belt. I had to design belt loops myself with cord threaded through the open holes.

Like it so much I bought two more Great little knife, have not figured out how the provided webbing is supposed to help me attach this to my kit, but the knife and the sheath are perfect. Giving one to the wife to carry when she runs and a gun is not practical.
