Incendor description
Assisted opening, low profile and deep carry clip - EDC dream knife, anyone?

The Incendor™ is designed by veteran knifemaker, Ken Steigerwalt. It's an assisted opening knife that features the Outburst™ assist mechanism in combination with the Fire Safe™ thumbstud opening system. These two innovations combine to create an assisted opening knife that won't go off in your pocket, yet opens quickly and easily by pressing down on the FireSafe™ thumbstud and pushing outward.

The Incendor™ has a traditional drop point blade that's bead blasted, then coated with a gray titanium nitride finish. The blade has a slight hollow grind and is just under 3". A stainless steel locking liner keeps the knife secure when open. The G10 scales are milled with slight flourishes that add grip to the ergonomic handle. A deep carry pocket clip is designed for one position, tip-down carry.

If you're looking for the perfect everyday carry knife, your search is over: the Incendor™ is the knife for you.

I just received this knife yesterday and I will say that I really like it. Great feel and weight for an every day work knife. I really want to keep it but the so called EASY open feature does not work reliably. Depressing the thumb stud and nudging it forward, sidewise, backward, any direction does not bring the blade to fully open all the time. Once in a dozen trys did the blade spring open, the rest of the time I had to pull it open with my left hand. I have sore right thumb from continually trying to open this knife. Does this knife require a break in period or should it spring open from new? Can I return it for a replacement? Do I have to go trough AG Russell - CRKT RESPONSE - This knife should not be hard to open. This is definitely something that would be covered by Warranty for replacement or exchange.

i just bough this knife off my snap on dealer and have been carrying for a week now. i cant express enough how much i love this knife. i dont care that it doesnt have jimping or that the steel is a budget 8cr13mov (would like to see a bit nicer though) .its got an excellent lock up when open with absolutely no play. it opens quick and reliably. it hangs deep in the pocket although i would like to be able to reposition the clip for tip down carry. i used it the other day to cut up some boxes, put it through about 350-400 pieces of cardboard varying lengths, thicknesses and type. and its still sharp, not hair popping, but paper slicing sharp.

Love this knife, quickly becoming my favorite EDC. I saw a prototype and literally bought one the first week they went on sale. The Veff Flat Top Serrations are wonderful on a smaller knife. So easy to sharpen. I don't know why CRKT doesn't talk this up more or show the combo edge version in pictures. The G10 handle has topography which makes it feel very solid in hand. The Outburst and FireSafe combo are fun to use. And finally, the deep carry pocket clip is perfect and feels very secure. I had to work the clip a little at first as it was too tight. I only wish that I could convert this knife to a tip up carry. I'm going to buy a couple more to give as gifts this year.
