Launce Barber and Tom Stokes designed the patented* Zilla-Tool™ Jr. as part of our innovative I.D. Works™ line of tools. It is a slightly smaller and lighter version of the original Zilla-Tool, which makes it easy to carry while retaining high utility.
The pliers jaws are spring loaded, with a slight needle nose taper. They have both fine flat and circular toothed gripping surfaces. Near the base of the pliers, is a very useful wire cutter, and also a notch near the handle for wire stripping.
You can store the two screwdriver hex bits in the Zilla-Tool Jr.'s handle reliefs. It also accepts other standard hex bits with the help of an adapter.
To open the knife blade quickly, just press the little "flipper." It also acts as a blade guard when the blade is open.
Metallic surfaces are bead-blast, while the Zilla-Tool Jr.'s rugged scales are injection molded black glass filled nylon.
The custom stainless steel clip will hold the Zilla-Tool Jr. in your pocket or on gear, or it can be removed if you want to use the included nylon sheath with belt loop and snap closure.
The Zilla-Tool Jr. can open bottles too, using the end of its pliers handle.
I returned this because it was too small for my purposes.

My first CRKT tool purchase. I bought it for $15 on Steep and Cheep. Great tool for a daily pocket carry. The knife isn't very sharp and it DOESN'T WORK as a bottle opener Great tool considering what I paid for it.

It's a handly little tool with only 1 flaw. The hex bits are non-standard and if you loose one, or you want to use a torx or security bit you are out of luck. Yes you can get an adaptor by buying the Get-a-Way, but it would be nice not to have to carry an additional item just to use a 1/4 bit.

I got a great deal on this little multi tool and i'm happy with the purchase. I've been a faithful leatherman user for many year but was looking for something a little less bulky to carry around all time. The pocket clip, bottle opener, and knife are the tools are designed perfect however I find that the pliers, driver bits, and wire cutters a bit too small for certian tasks (cutting line for line trimmer). I regret not purchasing the larger model.
If you are not in need of a serious tool and you are looking for a small, light weight, but very functional multi tool with basic features I would reccomend this tool.

I purchased my Zilla-jr tool some time back and just used it the other day for the first time. I was very impressed. Basically it was the only tool I used during the entire wiring harness rebuild on my Ford tractor. Everything I needed was at hand, i.e. wire stripper/cutter, bits to unscrew connectors, etc.. It did make me wonder why I waited "too" long to start using it? Thanks for a great tool... J.D.
