Launce Barber and Tom Stokes designed the patented* Zilla-Tool™ as part of our innovative I.D. Works™ line of tools. It really is the monster tool, with a comfortable ergonomic handle that lets you get a lot of work done.
The pliers jaws are spring loaded, with a slight needle nose taper. They have both fine flat and circular toothed gripping surfaces. Near the base of the pliers, is a very useful wire cutter and also a notch near the handle for wire stripping.
You can store the two screwdriver hex bits in the Zilla-Tool's handle reliefs. It also accepts other standard hex bits.
To open the knife blade quickly, just press the little "flipper." It also acts as a blade guard when the blade is open.
Metallic surfaces are bead-blast, while the Zilla-Tool's rugged scales are injection molded black glass filled nylon.
The custom stainless steel clip will hold the Zilla-Tool in your pocket or on gear, or it can be removed if you want to use the included nylon sheath with belt loop and snap closure.
The Zilla-Tool can open bottles too, using the end of its pliers handle.
Great tool. Highly recommended. I keep this in my EDC.

Very nice tool. It seem a little long at first but I'm starting to enjoy the size. Still don't understand how the bottle opener works. Phillips bit was difficult to fully insert into the tool. After a couple insertions, pressing bit on hard surface and removal with a vice, it worked fine.

Especially like the spring-loaded pliers. Good, substantial knife blade with a solid locking mechanism. This has become my go-to multi tool in my jeep.

Excellent tool except for the bottle opener.

Very versatile with many uses that are more ergonomic than the leatherman, and able to apply more pressure with the screwdriver bits.

Extremely cool multi-tool. Leatherman is no longer the industry standard for creativity, utility and fine craftsmanship.
