I am an instant fan of this knife CRKT describes this as a gentlemen's knife. I like that title. It has a true, sleek, design the isn't bulky or cumbersome, but fits very comfortably in your hand. The razor sharp blade is opened easily thanks to flipper style opener in the handle. And the locking mechanism is solid and secure assuring reliable performance every time it comes out of your pocket. Speaking of your pocket, it's easily accessible from your hip thanks to the built in, spring loaded pocket clip that always keeps with in reach. This is an absolute necessity for your pocket everyday. But be careful, you'll find yourself pulling it out all the time just to show it off. It is beautiful.
I just received my smooth handled Swindle by Ken Onion. It's everything that I expected it to be. Smooth as silk opening, lightweight, easy to open and fits my hand perfectly. A tip of the ol' cowboy hat to Mr. Onion, on another awesome design. Keep up the great work, Ken
I purchased a pre production Swindle for $51.49 including shipping that is smoother opening than the four hundred dollar titanium Spyderco, that WAS in my pocket, this knife, is the grooved version, what a steal, buy one for under 200 bucks, you will love it, easy flipper is an understatement, very sweet knife, I am impressed

I just received my Grooved handle swindle and it did not disappoint I have been waiting for this particular release for 4 months, frequently checking which company would have it first. Upon unpacking, this little gem slid out of the crkt box and slipped into my hand like it had been made for me The weight listed at 3.3oz is perfect for edc and the new pocket clip design clipped easily to my jean pocket. When attached, it kind of looks like a pen in my pocket. (very low profile) not scary at all, I think it would be great for office. I own the EROS, so I was already familiar with the IKBS ball bearing system and again it's smooth as silk I pushed the fipper with my index, the 12c27 sandvic sprung out, locking into place. The angle of the blade while open is perfect for endless duties
