Get the same contemporary styling, smooth flowing profile and all around fresh design as the original Ripplenow available with aluminum scales.
The aluminum handles are anodized black and then hand buffed to expose the silver aluminum, creating an attractive, randomized pocket worn finish to the handles. Its modified drop-point blade is easy to open single handedly with the blade opener flipper. The Ripple designed by Ken Onion also features the innovative IKBS ball bearing system for a strong, smooth pivot.
When you are seeking a perfect every day carry knife choice The Ripple™ aluminum folder is an ideal overall low profile, lightweight edc.
I bought this knife recently and while cleaning it noticed that the edges of the ballbearing housings were broken. I am assuming that amazon sent me a knife that had already been stressed at some point. I contacted crkt and they are sending me replacement parts. Communication was prompt.
The knife its self is very sturdy even with the broken pieces. It hones to a great edge (hair popping) and holds this edge very well even being at a lower end price point. It fits fairly well in my hand, I probably would have gone with the larger of the two options but I live in Spain where the consider Airsoft guns to be real weapons you have to register, but at 3.75 inches it functions well enough.

I will buy crkt again in the future. Thanks.

I own this knife as well as other CRKT knives and i have to say, its a very beautiful knife. The opening action is the smoothest i have ever had. The only problem with the ripple (aluminum) is its clip, that the end sticks up so when i grab it to cut something over a long period of time it digs into my hand. But minus the clip digging into my hand i give this knife a 4/5 stars

I use this knife as an EDC for my job in IT. I see the short length as an advantage for most of the scenarios that I utilize it in.
