I bought this knife as a Christmas present for my brother. He has enjoyed every minute of use with only one small complaint that it is stiff to open. He has said that over time it has loosened up. I enjoy using all the knives I have bought from CRKT and will continue my collection with there product.

The knife itself looks cool as hell and seems much more durable than any knife i've ever owned as an EDC. It is also my first high quality knife i've purchased. I hope that with a little use, it will open easier. My thumb will be happier.

Love the look, feel and blase design, hate the the opening mechanism. The other reviewers have it right that the knife is very stiff to open. If you only have to open it maybe once a day or less your thumb will survive, otherwise hope it builds a tough calous. This was a big dissapointment. Product of China also not a plus. :-(

I find the handle to be a little smooth to hold when deploying the blade. The blade release is also a bit difficult. It does NOT pop out like the mini Tigh. My thumb is soreBecause of this it went into the " collection" rather than being my EDC.

got this knife 2 weeks ago, it's a little stiff to open but with some playing around and breaking it in, it is a a great daily carry.

I received my new McGinnis-Notorious knife yesterday. Its fit and function will make it idea to carry daily. However, I was very disappointed to see that it is a product of CHINA.
