This is SGT Mark Petty, 2nd BATTLION 121 inf.[Ret.],i boughgt 3 M16 CRKT at the PX camp liberty Iraq in 2006. igave 2 of them to my brothers.well recently it was stolen.i cant replace that specific one but its a damn good knife and i want another.

I own many knives, but the M4-02S is the overall best regardless of price. I carry it daily. IT IS A GREAT KNIFE.

I own several of these knives and have never had failure with any of them. I have used these knives in many different situations.

I bought my first one three years ago. I had to send it back because it started to rust. The new one sent to me the blade has gotten stained over the last two years. I have called the company and they say that there is nothing they will do. I ask to buy a new blade but they said that they only sell complete knives not parts. Rust can effect any stainless steel over time, oxidation can occur. We recommend that the blade be properly maintained with a light coating of oil.

This is my first legit knife and I am happy I made the right choice. It opens faster than any other folder my friends have, and it is light enough to clip on to my gym shorts without weighing me down (Im used to carrying a leatherman and it sucks) So its great to carry around. Its dang sharp, dang strong and dang sexy. I love it.

This knife was the first Kit Carson and the first CRKT knife I have ever bought. I cannot seem to keep it. I gave my first one to a special forces friend who fell in love with it. I replaced it for myself. I gave the second one to my sister who fell in love with it when she handle it and replaced it. I am now using the third one I have bought but I would not be surprised if this one gets given away too. :-)

Has this knife while deployed to Iraq. Still has dust in it and still works perfect. I was able to find the OIF collector version after a long search. great all around mid sized knife. Thank you, Steven OEF/OIF Veteran

Bought this at a yard sale not knowing what it was. Best knife I've ever owned and it won't be the the last CRKT I buy. It has an amazingly comfortable, stylish handle, opens faster and more smoothly than autos and has never gone dull despite being used on everything for over three years. I've never had a folder with a blade this solid.

I have had this knife for a few years now and love it. The blade has stayed nice and sharp. The lock still works great too.
