M16-13T description
Kit Carson, designer of the M16® Series, became famous for his titanium frame M16 customs. True to Kit's custom design in all details, the production M16T models have been taken a step further with the addition of our exclusive patented* AutoLAWKS safety, which automatically turns the folders into virtual fixed blades when the blade is opened and locked.

The handles, which form the open-build frame, are CNC machined from 6AL4V titanium. The result is a better strength-to-weight ratio than steel or aluminum, and an almost indestructible frame. The titanium frame is minimally ceramic bead-blast finished to enhance grip. The single 420J2 stainless steel locking liner with friction grooves provides positive locking.

The blade is AUS 8 stainless steel, chosen for edge retention and durability, in non-reflective fine bead blast finish, with a Combined Razor-Sharp and Triple-Point Serrated edge. This steel can handle the most rugged cutting tasks and still be field sharpened.

Of course, this model features the signature "Carson Flipper" extension to the blade, which aids opening and acts as an additional blade guard.

The slim profile M16®-13T has a spear point blade, a very popular slender shape that is ideal for a variety of carry positions.

Faithful replicas. Premium quality. Precise. Smooth. Amazing value for those who want the ultimate M16. Kit Carson still marvels at how well our production titaniums compare to his customs.

Bought this as a replacement because I love the knife so much. My only negative is the screws holding the pocket clip in place have a tendency to back out in time. New screws with "locktite" seem to remedy this problem.

I love this knife. I looked and looked for a knife to be able to wear while in uniform. Coming from a family of hunters and knife collectors I only have a little exprince myself, but my father told me to look into titanium. I found this one, it is perfect for me as the safety lock I dont have to worry about it trying to fold up on me. It lite weight and so easy to use. Since buying mine I bought one for my father and brothers. WELL WORTH THE BUY

I really like the knife and the only bad thing I can say about it is that my finger sometimes hits the auto lawks when I open it using the flipper. Besides that it is great

Though this model is twice as expensive as its counterparts with other handles, I bought it due to my love of titanium. I was not disappointed. I love the smooth action, opening and closing. The handle is thinner than the other M16's and, therefore offers more options for concealment. It is also incredibly durable material. I am completely satisfied with it and do not regret the money I spent.

Good knife. Very durable and sharp. Opening sticks at first but with a little work and love operates quickly and smoothly. Balanced enough for throwing. Replaced my kershaw of 6 years.

I have had this knife for about two weeks now and it is the strongest knife that i own from CRKT. I have a total of six CRKT knives and this one being the most expensive offers the most. I have a kayak trip coming up in the Adirondacks in New York State and this knife will be the one i bring. i was surprised how lite it was at first compared to my other CRKT knives. This knife was worth the money and will last a life time. Thanks CRKT

I carry this knife whenever there is a chance that it might become my primary weapon. Perfect size, excellent function, and after getting used to it, the auto-lawk is a feature that I have learned to love. It really is like a fixed blade when open. If that could be combined with an open assist on this knife, it would be perfect in every way, and I wouldn't carry anything else.

I have two of these, I lost my first one so I bought another, then found original. Pros: simple design, beautiful titanium handles, fast opening, highly resistant to corrosion. Cons: will wear out pants over time with the checkered thumb studs, I grinded and polished mine. The ball in the liner wears out fairly quick if your practicing opening it a lot. has looseness in blade after 6 years of daily use (trying to get a new liner for it now which would completely fix that). Overall: I never leave home without it

I have had this knife for years and am happy to say, this is the one that is always with me. Great size, edge, shape and price.
