Great knife. Smaller than I expected, but I've carried the M16-14SFG for years so I'm use to bigger knives. I was under the impression that the blade was just smaller. This is a more reasonable size for a large EDC. I still prefer the 14 in my work pants, but the 13 doesn't produce as noticeable of a bulge in jeans as the 14. This was also m first Desert Tan knife. I don't like the blade color. The G10 handle looks great, but the blade has a gold hue. Almost wish I could swap a black blade into the tan handle. Overall it's a great knife and I'm happy with the money spent.

This is my 2nd CRKT. I was so impressed with the M16-01KZ I "needed" another knife. When it arrived I was surprised how large it is. I read the measurements before I ordered, but it is surprisingly more substantial than I was expecting. It came sharp and all the screws were tight. The larger flipper worked well with gloves at the range this morning as well. Excellent product.
I'm not going to lie I always thought crkt knives were crap until I picked up a m16 13sfg in the store. I have and had a lot of knives some 200 dollars plus. Crkt m16 gets it right where a lot of other companies fail. The m16 had no blade play, centered blade, great fit and finish and sharp. I paid lot more for other blades that suppose to be great but have plenty of blade play and weak locks. I believe crkt is truly underrated. Semper fi

My first CRKT is now my EDC and trust me I have put it through the paces. I think of all the money spent on knives, this should be your next investment, CRKT will be mine for years to come trusting their quality and very pleased with price. You'll be happy you're carrying the best
Just got this knife today and it is working great so far. The knife is clearly very well made and feels very sturdy and durable. This is my first CRKT knife and will definitely be buying more in the future.
Does the nitrate finish come off easily? Over time the finish on all blades can steadily wear down. Many guys wear it as a a badge of honor that their "gear" should look used. CRKT
I have carried a CRKT M16-14 since I was 16 and sadly, it recently became irreparably damaged. I ordered the 13DSFG and was suprised that some more-recent innovations, such as the Autolawks safety feature, didn't encumber its usability. CRKT has, in my opinion, changed my mind on the old "they don't make 'em like they used to" saying. Excellent steel- holds edge yet doesn't take forever to hone.

Excellent EDC knife. I have been a fan of CRKT for years and have used/carried many different models for work and professional purposes. This has to be my favorite design yet, so much so that I plan on ordering about 3 more for gifts to other professionals and a spare for me. You honestly cant go wrong with this in my opinion. Fantastic materials, build, feel, and dexterity. Opens itself up for a multitude of uses.
I purchased the M-16 folder 6 months ago. I did my homework and after all the searching decided to go with this knife because of the double-flippers, the desert nitride finish on the blade, and the Veff Serrations. Everything exceeded my expectations. Flippers work great
Exceptional piece. I have been a "knife guy" for over 40 years. Actually used one in combat during 3 infantry tours in Vietnam. The act was documented in 20M newspapers. Wish we would have had this one back then. Plus have over 15 years in Army SOF including "Delta" and other Special Mission Units. Love it. I have it in my personal survival kit and have used the same model in the past.Recommend it to everyone who needs a personal "survival tool". Thanks Buzz
