Though its name is M16 it resembles a AK47 its throgh hell and back durability and reliability is comforting. My only complaint would be the pocket clip being a little stiff but it will probably work in. It does take a little bit to get used to the AutoLAWKS™ but it is very stout when locked. Very happy with the knife overall.

I love this knife in every way but I have once question. The video for this knife seems to show that while holding it in one hand a vigorous push of the Carson flipper with one's finger will fully open and lock the knife without having to flick one's wrist or use the other hand. When I try to open it the same way the knife only opens about 80 degrees, I either have to flip my wrist or use my other hand to open the knife the rest of the way until it locks in place. Or do I have to flick my wrist at the same moment that I push down on the flipper?

Very well made. This is my second M16. I purchased my first years ago and I can't recall an instant where my first M16 failed me. I was happy to get this 13SFG for X-mas.

Very good, sturdy knife. Opens quickly. Love the tactical black blade. I will say its hard to close if you have small hands.

My third CRKT purchase, the M16-13SFG is a bad to the bone knife that looks great and functions better. VERY smooth action and super solid when opened, it truly feels like a fixed blade. The autoLAWKS feature is great. My only issue with the knife is one of the serration tips broke off, but the way I use it any other knife would be junk by now...

I have a well-worn, and much loved, M16-01KZ. But since I felt like a new knife, and the scales have become a little too smooth on the other, I bought the 14SFG today. The scales feel fantastic: good adhesion, but not overly so. Light weight, great balance, functional double-tang, and it carries deeply in the pocket. Great product.
