The Special Forces G10 models share a unique design offering a combination of Carson M16 Series features requested by military procurement specialists. The dual grind Tanto blades were specified because they offer maximum strength. The open build allows two Carson Flippers to be incorporated, resulting in a true hilt very rare in folding knives.
The M16®-13SFG Slim Profile G10 features a 3.50" (89 mm) dual grind Tanto blade and is ideal when weight and bulk must be kept to a minimum.
Blade, frame and hardware are non-reflective tactical black. The blade receives a black titanium nitride coating for maximum corrosion resistance. Kit's trademark dual checkered thumb studs are standard. One-hand opening and closing is quick and smooth.
It also features our exclusive patented (1) AutoLAWKS™, the Lake and Walker Knife Safety innovation taken to the next level. AutoLAWKS™ automatically sets a pin between the locking liner and the frame. This pin acts as an additional layer of safety, so the locking liner is less likely to disengage during use. To close the knife, pull the AutoLAWKS™ red button lever back, slide the locking liner over, and fold the blade into the closed position.
Our G10 model features scales of black G10, stainless steel liners with friction grooves and a premium 8Cr14 stainless steel blade with our Combination patented (2) Veff™ Serrations. G10 is often preferred for its aggressive gripping texture, light weight, and superior insulating properties.
All knives in this series are equipped with clip options that allow four-position carry on belts or webbing. Caution: These knives are not designed for tip-up in-pocket carry. They are special knives, designed by the military for special forces use.

This is an excellent product and design. The size and design allows for versatility of use and ease of carry. It is always included in my EDC, and many of my clients have been sold on it as well.

Logic and research brought me to this knife and the company CRKT.
I've had many knives in my 72 years but I've never felt as satisfied as with this one. Form follows function here, and the materials and quality are excellent The flipper release to close is difficult one handed, but I can live with it. I couldn't recommend a better knife for the price I've loved it for 2 years now

I have had several CKT knifes over the years. i have lost most of them or got taken. Right now i own two of the M16 13sfg, and i could not ask for a better knife. i use it my daily work life USN 20 years. i have noticed that the small nut or screw on the back side to release becomes loose and falls off and the belt clip becomes loose and has to be tighten often. This is still a great knife.

The M16 13SFG was my first CRKT and when i bought it through Gander Mt. i wasnt so sure about quality considering how light it was, but i've had it for somewhere around a year and it has not failed me once. The grip is comfortable to hold, and the blade is satisfying to open. Plus, after about 3 minutes of tinkering and removel of the clip, the M16 makes for a great throwing knife
