His Bez Tine™ Hunter is a classic fixed-blade skinner, with a blade of 1.4116 high-carbon stainless steel. The blade receives a high hollow grind for top skinning performance, and then is mirror polished for maximum corrosion resistance.
At the handle, the full-tang blade is mated to a stainless steel bolster and walnut scales, held with stainless steel pins and meticulously hand-contoured. The handle features four deep finger choils for grip under the slipperiest conditions.
I bought it for my 14 year old son. His first skinner. He hasnt used it yet but from the details of craftmanship it should work great. Beautiful knife.

I've been big game hunting all my life and decided last year I wanted to switch to a fixed blade style. I looked at several different brands and styles that I thought would make good elk/deer gutting and skinning knives. After handling and getting the feel of several at a local outdoor store I settled on this knife.
The blade length and shape is perfect for getting up inside the game and the finger grips on the handle are excellent so the knife doesn't slip when "wet".
Last year I gutted and skinned 2 buck deer and 3 bull elk and the knife was still very sharp. After last season I gave it 2 passes using my fine grit hone in my lansky sharpening kit set on 25 degree's and it was razor sharp again.
I can't imagine anyone buying it for this use would be disappointed.

Another hit from Russ Kommer. I have been a dedicated fan of CRKT knives for a number of years now, but by far the Bez Tine is my favorite hunting knife. Balanced, beautiful, and extremely comfortable to use. The best part is, after being used to help with the harvest of 2 elk in a matter of hours, the Bez Tine was still razor sharp. Phenomenal
Thanks Guys.
