Ken Onion was inducted into the Blade Magazine Hall of Fame in 2008 and is recognized as one of the most innovative and successful knife designers of our time. He has been making custom knives since 1991 and invented the first commercially successful assisted opening mechanism in 1996, creating a new product class. He holds more than 36 patents on locks, gadgetry, mechanisms, safeties, and designs. He has collaborated on production designs with a number of prominent manufacturers, and conducts classes on knife technology around the world. He also teaches classes in design, knife making and business in his home state of Hawaii. In addition to cutlery, Ken has a wide variety of other product designs to his credit and in the works. We are delighted to have him as part of the CRKT team.
The Eros is an incredibly light and fast pocket knife. Ken likes to call them "Gentleman Tacticals." The Titanium frame lock is CNC machined and the Japanese Acuto + blade steel is incredibly sharp. The IKBS bearing system make these blades fly open. Once you pick up an Eros you will not be able to set it down
I love this knife I also have many many of your knifes like John Ive got everyone he has plus the badger each one in doubles what he said about the 1070 way true you need to be careful when carrying that one I also have the delegate in the wood handle the lake 111 2 couple of the tribute knife which you guys should make ass. but I think that the ripple is the best in my collection of crkt set I'd gotten the light blue both ser. and pl. blades very smooth action beautifully made. Im a collector are seller of knifes and I have some of Kens stuff from your competitor like those too. You should start making some mid range autos. that be would be nice all and all this is a well made knife ive gotten the larger one which you wont lose as easy but when you need a small knife to go out with when
