I love this knife to death. Thin enough clip onto a pocket and forget it is there, but more than sturdy enough to stand up to everyday use. Incredible quality for the price. However, the clip recently broke after getting caught on a chair. Anybody know a way of getting a replacement clip without replacing the entire knife? CRKT Response: Please fill out the form on our free parts request page. We can get you a whole new clip, screws, and tool. Here is the link : http://www.crkt.com/parts_request
I PURCHASED THIS KNIFE TWO YEARS AGO AND IT HAS NOT LET ME DOWN YET. HOWEVER OVER TIME THE LOCKING MECHANISM WHEN THE BLADE OPENS IS WEEK. I HAVE TO PUT A LITTLE MORE EFFORT TO GET THE BLADE TO LOCK IN. VERY SMOOTH MOVEMENT BUT BEWARE. THE BLADE WILL NOT LOCK IN PROPERLY. CRKT Response: Hello, thank you for the review. Please know if your knife is not working properly that you can always send the knife in for warranty. We should be able to help you with this issue. Please check out the warranty page on our website for more information. Thank you!
CRKT Ken Onion hit a Home Run with this Ripple flip knife . I cannot believe it's priced this cheap $69 I would have paid more, I have a collection of over 100 knives Manufactured and Customs out of all of those this one by far is as good as my most expensive custom knife. There's so many points of perfection it has become my EDC for over 2 yrs haven't found a replacement yet? Yeah someone mentioned the screws coming loose but, it's no issue when my loosened I simply placed a dab of light lock tight on them never been an issue since and as far as the bearing goes yes occasionally I place a dab of gun lube on it just cause I love to keep it quiet and fast opening I adjusted the tension perfectly after 2 yrs. of flipping it open its still perfect ,Thank You Ken CRKT for this baby
The CRKT Ripple is a very versatile pocket knife. It is lightweight, the blade holds a pristine edge and the opening mechanism is very smooth. I like the feel of the handle and the overall size of the knife. All-in-all a winner.
Ken Onion has designed another Great Knife I have both sizes of the CRKT Ripple - Aluminum Knife. Light Wight, Fast Deployment, Quick Smooth Opening, It is my First Choice Pocket knife.

Had this knife for almost 2 years now. Just sharpen it every now and then and it soldiers on. Great price for a great knife.
Received my Ken Onion designed folder about two weeks ago now. Some initial comments-- Knife is very lightweight for appearance and has an excellent tactile feel when holding it or retrieving from pocket. It took a few uses to get feel of the opening mechanism but it slings the blade out. I always dont do it with enough speed and it does not lock open but a wrist flick along with the finger stroke works great.
The knife came extremely sharp right out of the box. The locking mechanism is solid and reliable. The build appears to be very good on entire knife. I do get a slight noise in hinge mechanism as if it needs some lubricant sometimes as I have habit of sitting around and repeatedly opening and closing blades on pocket knifes. Great knife especially for the price. Great blade.

This is the first CRKT blade I have ever bought hell this is the first blade I have ever spent $65.00 on.(I should have my head examined LOL) When I first saw this one I picked it up and fell in love with it. Very balanced , Best feeling folder I have ever held. Super sharp factory edge I could shave the hairs off my arm with it. I have had it for about 3-4 months My only Greif is the frame screws came loose and fell out. I lost all 4 out of mine and am waiting for CRKT to send me replacements. Also the super sharp factory edge does not last very long after quickly cutting about 4 fairly thin pieces of rubber it was still sharp but I could no longer shave with it. Other than that I have no complaints I just bought my second CRKT blade today the Ignitor with spring assist opening.
