With the Ripple Aluminum you get a uniquely elegant design, silky smooth deployment, rock solid lockup, wicked sharpness right out of the box, light weight that rides well in the pocket, and an undeniable feeling of quality. When I add that all up, I know I have found my perfect gentleman's folder. Well done Ken Onion and CRKT

The balance on this knife is well beyond excellent. It seems that all to often the weight is all in the handle, but this knife is completely balanced. The opening of the blade is like silk, and it not only looks great, but has an amazing grip and feel in the hand. Well worth every penny.

My first Ripple. I love the look and feel of this knife. Weight is excellent and blade material holds an excellent edge. This will be primarily used for work but also as an EDC knife. The look is polished and quality is excellent. Overall a great value

Love this knife. Super light and has a great form. The jimping is super sharp and it fits well in the hand, I wear XL gloves.
Wicked sharp out of box as well.

This is my second Ripple and this is a good knife made much better. The original had a flimsy pocket clip that was always snagging on things, getting bent out of shape and eventually broke (it was replaced free of charge). The new clip is much more sturdy and resists snagging. Additionally, the liner lock mechanism has been improved. A good knife now great.

For design and quality this knife is clearly a ribbon winner. However, there needs
to be a caution posting for holding it in the closed position

I was quite pleased with the Onion. It has a nicely shaped and very well ground blade, extremely sharp, and easy to open and close with one hand. I've always been reluctant to carry a knife of this size, but the Onion fits very nice in my pocket and doesn't block access to it's contents.

The aluminum scaled Ripple is the first CRKT knife I've ever bought and it definitely will not be the last. Everything about this knife is perfect. Size, weight, blade. This knife will for sure be my EDC for quite a while now.
