Terrific knife Very responsive when opening and extremely sharp. The Veff serrations make this a very effective cutting tool. The blade is thick and sturdy, and with such a narrow tip I felt it could easily break. Not true, it is a hefty piece of metal. I bought this blade more for defensive reasons, however I have discovered it is a practical folding knife as well.

Great knife so far. Sharp out of the box. Lightweight, forget it is the pocket. Really lile the assist opening. Just an overall great knife.

Bought a Heiho 2901 a few months ago and lost it at work, another's good fortune Couldn't do without it so I ordered another and the non-serated model as well. Great products. Am considering several other products at present. Top rated 5

Great knife. The Veff serrations are awesome.I have used this knife to cut 1/4" thick sheets of rubber. The veff serrations cut the rubber in a single pass. This knife has become my EDC Knife. It is one of the most comfortable knives that i have carried. Thanks CRKT

I recived my Heiho a few days ago, and i can honestly say this is the best sharpest knife second only to my ZT0301. Yesterday i cut the flaps off a box and it was like i was cutting paper. Thank You so very much for a perfectly ballenced knife tactical and elegant. Ready for the stree or a black tie affair. Besides the awesome blade with the Veff serrations the BIG sell Point for me was the kanji on the handle it makes this perfect tool stand out among other knives of the same size. This will be one of my most prized posessions. Thanks again for making a superior product I look to many years of service and use with my Heiho

I bought the Heiho based on an ad I saw in an NRA magazine. I went to the very convenient website, and within days had the knife. It is everything that is presented in the promotional description. The quality is high, the design is very functional, and the "feel" of the knife is comfortable. My other thumb-open knives are not spring assisted, so there was a period of adjustment to the quick opening, but now I wouldn't do without. The safety lock is a nice feature and easy to operate. This is a knife that you will carry in your regular rotation.
To CRKT: The order process was easy and your notification of order and shipping was excellent. A good on-line experience. Good job.

I LOVE this knife. I have been searching for just the right knife after I lost my Spyderco a couple years ago. This is perfect easy to open, just the right size and very well made. I prefer the manual lock because 99 % of what I use it for doesn't require the extra safety. That 1 time I need it locked I can easily do it with my thumb. I didn't like the auto lock on the M16 and gave it away when I got this

Excellent knife, as is every CRKT knife I have purchased. Williams designs excellent fighting utensils and this knife is no different. And considering the price this is a bargain

I think this is a nice knife but you have to manually push the lock in the lock position to where its sister locks automatically. I like the Hissatsu 100% .

Pros: Slices softer materials NICE, punches holes in materials even better, carries very well in the pocket, balanced perfectly.
Cons: Due to the wide opening in the handle for the blade it picks up pocket lint and dirt pretty easy, and gums it up a bit on opening. Doesn't play so nice if you have to trim down any plastic very well.
The cons overall though are insignificant in the big picture. The knife does what it was designed to do, and does it very well I carry another stouter knife for those applications this one doesn't do well. it's a lot like using sledge hammer to do what it was meant to do, and a finishing hammer for what it was meant to do.
