Our patent-pending* Get-A-Way™ Driver models are another creative design by Launce

Barber and Tom Stokes which is designed to be an integral part of our I.D. Works® tool

system.

One indication of their innovative design is that the Get-A-Way Driver was named

2008 Accessory Of The Year at the Blade Show in Atlanta, Georgia.

The Model 9094 itself is a screwdriver; flat and Phillips hex bit carrier with four

standard hex bits, two flat and two Phillips; a specialty wrench; bottle opener; and L.E.D.

flashlight with carry carabiner.

The Get-A-Way Driver Torx® Model 9095 contains T5, T6, T8, T10 Torx hex bits. In

addition to being a useful high-tech tool, the 9095 makes an ideal CRKT knife maintenance

tool.

Launce and Tom have designed this multi-tool to be as compact and lightweight as

possible. Handle length is only 3.75”, and weight is only 1.9 ounces.

It is the perfect small screwdriver. Not only can it be rotated like a conventional

screwdriver, but the bit driver can be removed and placed in a hex relief in the handle,

where it becomes an angle driver when more torque is needed. The four hex bits each

have a spring-loaded ball to retain them in the handle securely, and also have a thin

groove so that they can be easily pressed out of the handle and removed with a fingernail.

On the opposite end of the handle is a powerful L.E.D. flashlight with a press-on,

press-off switch button.

The underside of the handle is a mirror-polished stainless steel frame with wrench

reliefs for hex bits, 10 mm nuts and standard oxygen bottle valves. It also has a stainless

steel bottle and jar opener attached.

A stainless steel carry carabiner allows the Get-A-Way Driver to be attached to belt

loops, webbing, packs, or work equipment.

It also allows the Get-A-Way Driver to perform as part of the I.D. Works® tool system,

attached to the Zilla-Tool Jr. or Li’l Guppie, giving both of these tools additional

screwdriver/wrench/flashlight capabilities.
