I recently bought 3 crkt blades having never owned one before. As an industrial designer I'm extremely impressed with crkt's products, this one especially. Definitely my favorite of the 3 I
bought. The blade deployed really fast but it wasn't until I took a good look at the blade that I realized that I was going to leave with it. The knife has such a unique shape and is made very well. I would buy this again without question.
Bought this knife for one purpose and one purpose only. For the penetration. Although one day an accident occurred, in which i dropped the knife on my soft wood floor and a 1/4 inch of the tip broke off. Since this was a "misuse" it was not under warranty and not being a blade expert i could not repair it myself. So now i am stuck with a sharp knife with no tip.
Love the look and feel of this knife. Very original. I did have a problem with the thumb disk being so close to the frame, made it difficult to deploy and put my thumb in harm's way when I was able to deploy it. I filed down the disk at an angle and now it's much easier to deploy. Other than that this knife is a beauty.
This is the first CRKT knife I have purchased and owned and I am very satisfied with it. It's a high quality, durable blade. The knife has a nice look and feel to it and it's quick to open and easily concealable. I would recommend this to anybody.
Truly, a fantastic knife. I am impressed how solid it locks up. Very satisfied with the quality and engineering thought put into this knife.
Fantastic knife, really glad I bought it. You should too.
I purchased this knife for a duty knife that could be concealed in my boot. I was worried about it being flimsy. I am more than satisfied with the knife. It's well made and sturdy. The blade length is concealable but very effective when needed. I will recommend this as a concealable knife to the other members of my team.
This is my first "real" knife. By real I mean something more then $25 and having some quality to it. I used to love the tanto style blade until I saw the blade on this. I fell in love with this design and knew this would be the first real knife I'd buy.
I've had it for several days now, and I must say that opening it seemed a bit difficult at first. But I found it all comes down to how you move your thumb, which is more of a thumbs-up using the edge of your nail.
The G10 handles are nice and polished but also have a bit of a satin feel at the same time.
There is no play at all in any direction of the blade when locked. It has a very solid feel to the knife. I'd buy this knife again if I didn't already own one. I'd love to see a small fixed blade knife with this design of blade handle.
