This knife was a terrific surprise as it exceeded by already high expectations. This is one of many CRKT knifes that I have purchased. All have been of high quality and balance. This has the quickest assisted release. The excellent heft and balance make the knife feel at home in my hand. I like the black section of the handle as it enhances the tactile experience with the knife. The blades locks extremely securely, but is easily broken down with activation of the release mechanisms. This knife surpassed all my expectations. It has incredible styling to the blade. The action from the outburst is faster than any other assisted knife I've ever had. It has a great weight to it, super heavy. The only issue I have with it is the tacky black section on the handle. But, that is just really nitpicky as I prefer straight metal for my handles.

I really like this knife. Good heft, feeling of quality worksmanship and lightning fast opening. My only apprehension is that, as a resident of the Peoples Republic of California, the Outburst mechanism may be considered a switchblade by an uninformed, over zealous LEO. I wish CRKT could offer a little more confirmation that this knife does not violate California's knife regulations.

Great carry knife. The outburst assist is awsome. A small flick of the thumb abd the blade snaps and locks into place. The construction is very durable. The astetics are great too. A nice looking knife. Great price for a knife of this quality. Highly recommend

The knife is made of good steel and balances well in the hand. With practice you will be able to do a one hand opening.
