5520 description
There's nothing like the real thing. The Original K.I.S.S.®, family is the revolutionary high-tech statement by Knifemakers' Guild member and K.I.S.S. designer "Daddy K.I.S.S." Ed Halligan. It stands for "Keep It Super Simple."

Delilah's P.E.C.K.® (or Precision Engineered Compact Knife) is Ed's baby, weighing less than 1 oz. and only 2.625 inches long when closed. Just think of it as a sweet little K.I.S.S. When open, the graceful 1.75" Razor-Sharp Wharncliffe blade is a high-performance cutting tool suited for hundreds of daily tasks.

A thumb stud is used to one-hand open the blade, and as the blade is fully rotated open, the frame lock snaps crisply in behind the blade to give a sound lockup. The blade can be closed with one hand, simply by releasing the frame lock.

The blade features a Wharncliffe grind on the front and flat on the backside—so that when the blade is closed onto its handle/frame, the precision fit effectively "seals" the cutting edge to the frame, even though it's exposed. Both blade and frame are 420J2 stainless steel in a fine bead-blast finish.

The design of the K.I.S.S. series pocket/money clip permits them to be used in a variety of ways: clipped to the pocket; as a money clip knife; and with split-ring or lanyard, as a key chain knife.

In the wake of the success of the K.I.S.S. and P.E.C.K., a flock of imitators has appeared; none offers the simple elegance of Ed Halligan's original design, and none offers the value of CRKT quality manufacturing. In fact, the more Ed's design is imitated, the better it looks.

I've had mine for over 10 years and I've sharpened the blade down to where the tip is exposed in the oval opening in the frame when closed, so it must be replaced. I've used this knife to cut drywall, aluminum, miles of cardboard. This is an amazing knife. The only changes I did to the knife are: Removed the knurled nob used for opening, as it tends to causes the knife to open when I take my keys out of my pocket and it's not needed

This is my second P.E.C.K. I keep the knife on my key ring and this is the handies knife that I have ever owned. The blade remains sharp the longest and I find it easy to sharpen.

When this first arrived in the mail, I thought it was a joke. This little thing is a knife? I thought it would be bigger, have some heft to it, ya know, a MAN's knife. Now, after a couple weeks of use, I must admit I was in error. I keep it in my pocket, though the instructions say not to. The clip I use as a money clip and this is very helpful while we are currently traveling in Europe and I do not want to be burdened by carrying a wallet. The blade is very sharp yet is fully protected when folded. I find myself using it many times each day and smile each time I take it out. It is small, but mighty. My only question is, is there a bigger version? ***CRKT RESPONSE Mark - There is not a bigger version available at this time. We are glad you ended up liking the knife. CRKT

This is the most perfect key ring pocket knife. Very sharp and I find myself using it often. I will purchase more of this knife for gifts in the future.

Saw the stories of the lost ones. I found mine in a Denny's bathroom in Anthem Az. and was so impressed with the craftmanship I had to look it up. So that's a heck of a price These blades are ridiculously well made and the attention to detail is outstanding. If I found one of the lost ones let me know, who know the odds?

Bought this fantastic little knife after owning the K.I.S.S. for 2 years and loving it. This is my new favorite I can carry it in the small front change pocket of my jeans and no one knows it's there. Easy to open and wickedly sharp it cuts through everything in a wink.

This is a great knife I was given one as a gift. I am giving them as Christmas gifts to the men in the family. I keep it on my key chain and use it very often. Highly recommended

I had to purchase another as I thought I had lost mine which I had been carrying for about 10 years it seems. It turns out my wife found it in the washing machine. So now I have an extra, or perfect gift if it turns out I have forgotten someone. Last year I gave out 4 as Christmas gifts to the men of the family. Great knife to carry all the time... I have never kept one this long before. Highly recommended...
