The knife seems to be well made but I`m disappointed that the knife was manufactured in China. I feel a little mislead because the Company is in Oregon and the designers are in Arkansas I thought the knife would be American Made 2012-04-02 Calico Rock, AR ***CRKT RESPONSE We appreciate your comment. Thank you for giving us feedback. We read it all and your feedback is taken seriously here at CRKT. There are a lot of truly great knife/tool companies in the marketplace. CRKT is a family owned/operated Oregon company that provides over 30+ jobs right here in Tualatin, Oregon (including myself). We manufacture in China and Taiwan much like Apple, Nike (Oregon Company), Columbia Sportswear (another Oregon Company), and many other great American companies. It's a global economy at this point and all of us here at CRKT in customer service, quality control department, corporate office, shipping, receiving, operations and IT (yes...IT is right here with us) are very grateful to have jobs to provide for our families and contribute to the local economy here in Oregon. We all feel a great sense of pride in what we are able to achieve working with the world's finest knife designers including (not limited to); Ken Onion, James Williams, Russ Kommer, Kit Carson, Jim Hammond, Ed Halligan, Tom Veff (Oregon), and many others. CRKT is American owned, a few of our key competitors are not (I encourage you to research this), so their knife company profits are shipped overseas. Thanks again for your feedback and we appreciate all points of view.

This is a very nice looking knife. However I was surprised when I received it because I ordered this knife with the idea that the outburst assist but it appears to me not to be the case. It is spring assisted but nothing like the Fire Spark. A comparison show a different type spring bar than the Fire Spark and there is no "push button" as on the Fire Spark. The spring assist is definitely slower opening than the Fire Spark. However, it is a beautiful knife and this one goes in the collector case. Really not a practical carry knife for me.

GREAT KNIFE. Like the weight and everything about the
blade. Been waiting for the bone color one but been
out of stock forever-how does that happen. Gonna order
those whenever they come in as well. Randy

i have about 15 CRKT knives and this is the first one i am disappointed with. although I like the bulk of the knife it opens slow and the closing part (locking mechanism) is not made for ease of closing. I do however like the look and feel of it and the balance is good.

I have owned and used knives from a number of well known makers, but a friend put me on to CRKT, and the natural 2 was the first knife I ordered from them - it won't be the last. I was very impressed with its quality, and its price point. I am not fond of a lot of modern 'tactical folders', preferring a traditional look, and the Natural 2 has it all. The detailing in the filework on the spacers, the beauty of the jigged bone grip, the shape and size of the blade and grip, all make this an extremely attractive knife, as well as an extremely utilitarian one. If they had been making assisted opening folders in the 19th century, they would have looked like this - a neat little folding bowie, that is a lot of knife in a manageable package. 5 stars to CRKT from me

One of the most outstanding traits of The Natural is the dramatic shape of the blade. The overall appearance of three distinct flat planes reflecting blade shape is eye catching to say the least. Mine has the Jig Bone scales, and it's beautiful. The finger fitting grip compliments the blade shape like a nice set of wheels on a muscle car. The excellent file work shows you have great taste in knives. I love this knife.
