The Ultimate Close-Quarter TacticalConcealed Carry Folder.
Renowned top-level martial arts trainer and knife designer James Williams has developed with CRKT® the just released Otanashi noh Ken™ folder design at the request of SOCOM. This specialized folder provides a larger sized bladewith a thinned down carry stature.
The blade is long and keenly shaped for effective penetration, and it is packaged in a knife chassis, which is much easier to carry concealed. Its thumb-disk opener means you can deploy the blade fast, or unnoticed if warranted.
The Otanashi noh Ken features LAWKS®, the Lake and Walker Knife Safety innovation. LAWKS® sets a pin between the locking liner and the frame. This pin acts as an additional layer of safety, so the locking liner is less likely to disengage during use. To engage the safety, push the LAWKS® lever forward. To close the knife, pull the LAWKS® lever back, slide the locking liner over, and fold the blade into the closed position.
The “deep carry” style pocket clip helps to secure the knife on your person or in your gear bag with a less conspicuous visual signature.
If you have the type of job that demands an always ready “go to” tool, that you can effectively carry undetected or with negligible footprintthe Williams’ designed Otanashi noh Ken™ from CRKT® is a must have. Period.
The Otanashi noh Ken™ knife manufacturer’s suggested retail price is $150.00.
